At Gateway, we'd love to get to know you. Here's a little bit about us:
Pastor Seth Michael

Pastor Seth grew up in Iowa but quickly made the transition to calling Saskatchewan home.  He proudly wears the green and white and sends Rider gear to every new niece  and nephew in his family.  Seth enjoys playing video games when he's not watching CFL or reading up on the Riders.  Seth believes in God's power to restore and heal broken lives and relationships.

Seth grew up attending church but it wasn't until he was hospitalized during boot camp that he encountered Jesus Christ through the pages of his little Gideon Bible. God's transformation of his life helps Seth to know that God can transform anyone. Seth is a mini-van dad, toting his kids and former foster kids all over town. He believes in casual Friday every day and owns multiple pairs of the same style blue jeans.

Pastor Stacia Michael

Pastor Stacia grew up in western North Dakota as the eldest of four siblings.  After studying Russian and International Relations in university, Stacia began to sense God's plan for her life was not going to take her to Russia.  She attended Sioux Falls Seminary intending to become a missionary but God called her instead to work at home with his beloved bride, the church.  It was also at SFS where Stacia and Seth met and began to consider this "new" idea of co-pastoring.

Stacia enjoys reading, classic movies, and random trivia.  Nerdy is a fairly common adjective used to describe her; passionate is another.  While she prefers McDonald's coffee over Tim Horton's, Stacia loves living in Canada.  Her mom used to believe God couldn't call her anywhere colder than North Dakota - ha!  Seth and Stacia have two lovely daughters through guardianship, a daughter in heaven, a son and a particularly ornery cat, the Duchess.

Pastor Linea Lanoie

Pastor Linea grew up in Prince Albert attending the Covenant church and spent several years as a Covenant missionary in Congo. After retiring from her dental practice, Linea completed her Master of Divinity studies. She now serves as a full-time volunteer associate pastor of Gateway.

Linea operates The Gate, an outreach ministry of Gateway. In partnership with the health region, The Gate provides a drop-in space for clients dealing with HIV and Hep C in Prince Albert's downtown core. Linea facilitates a weekly sharing circle at The Gate that is impacting lives. In addition to her full-time work at The Gate, Linea also works with Gateway's Kids' Klub program and preaches regularly.

Leadership Council

Church Chair, Janet Loseth:

Janet returns to the role of church chair for Gateway, bringing lots of energy and experience to the role. She keeps very busy trouble-shooting problems large and small for friends, family, and Gateway. She shares her musical gifts by leading Gateway's worship team. She has four kids and husband Phil.

Secretary, Tracy Anderson:

Tracy serves Gateway as a "catalyzer" in a number of ministries, including church secretary, worship decor & art, and various other projects that need a go-getter to take charge. Tracy has a heart for the special needs community and has been a volunteer and Special Olympics bowling coach for 16 years. She is a grandma of two, a hairdresser, and an avid scrapbooker.

Stewardship & Properties Chair, Mary Jane Graham:
Mary Jane is a life-long Covenanter and member of Gateway. She is a great-grandmother and hosts a weekly meal for her whole family each Sunday. Mary Jane also served in Women Ministries for our Canada conference in past years.  She is looking forward to learning from and working with committee members to ensure the job is done well.

Missional Care Chair, Joanne Abramyk:
Joanne is serving her second year on Gateway's Leadership Council. Joanne cares deeply about Prince Albert and about helping PA experience the love of God. She is a busy mom and grandma, and a devoted fan of the Prince Albert Raiders. If she isn't hanging out with her family, she is probably at a Raider game!

Discipleship Chair, Debbie Skiftun:

Debbie is serving her second year on Gateway's Council. She is a loving grandma with a deep passion for connecting kids with Jesus. Debbie feels pretty new to her faith, so she understands the challenges that come with growing in discipleship. But she also has seen God's abiding faithfulness to her and patience with her as she navigates those challenges, making her a great fit to be guiding Gateway's efforts at discipleship.
