CARE MINISTRIES
Missional & Spiritual Care - Serving our Community in Jesus' Name
Gateway's Spiritual and Missional Care teams are focused on caring for one another and for our community. The Spiritual Care team visits the sick, celebrates life's milestones, and cares for those in crisis. The Missional Care team embraces newcomers to Canada, supports the ministry at The Gate, and cultivates a caring presence in our community.

NEIGHBOURS
The Missional Care team focuses on caring for our neighbourhood. From participating in Prince Albert's Pitch-In week to hosting Trunk-or-Treat (as regulations permit), the team strives to make Gateway a positive and welcoming presence in our community.

NEWCOMERS
Many newcomers to Canada have found a home at Gateway. We've been privileged to journey alongside families who've been reunited in Canada and those who are still waiting. We've even begun learning some Swahili and hosting ELL groups.
NEW ARRIVALS
The Spiritual Care team loves celebrating the new things in our lives! New babies, new houses, new marriages, new grads, new jobs...we mark all the occasions as a family of believers.

NEW LIFE IN CHRIST
Welcoming new believers into the community of faith is one of our deepest joys. We practice both infant and believer's baptism because we know that it is the Holy Spirit and not us who is at work in the sacrament.

NEEDS
Gateway supports those with spiritual and physical needs within our congregation and our community. We do this primarily through the work at The Gate, but we strive to meet needs as God enables us.

NURTURING
Our Spiritual Care team visits folks who find themselves ill or in hospital. They rejoice with those who rejoice and mourn with those who mourn. They help families experiencing loss. Above all, they care for Gateway by praying for Gateway.
