Join us at 10:30 am every Sunday, either in-person or online.
WHAT TO EXPECT
When you arrive, ushers will greet you in the church foyer. Please observe all the signage regarding current guidelines from the SK Ministry of Health. Use the hand sanitizer and follow the directional arrows on the floor. Help yourself to a mask if you have not brought your own - they are required for singing.
Once you are inside the sanctuary, ushers will help you find a seat that follows all the distancing protocols. Our sanctuary can accommodate up to 60 people on the main level and an additional 15 in the balcony space. Please stay with your household units or extended family clusters. If you wish to contribute to the ministry of Gateway, an offering basket is available at the rear of the sanctuary as you exit the building.
During the worship service, you will hear announcements about things happening in the life of Gateway, enjoy a brief message for children, and listen to God's Word being read aloud. We may sing a few songs wearing our masks. One of our pastors will share a message rooted in Scripture and connected to our real lives. We take time to pray together and share prayer requests each week - it's an important part of our Gateway family connection. Once a month we share in the Lord's Supper - a sacramental meal of bread and juice at which all are welcome to the table that Jesus has prepared.
After the service has ended, we ask that everyone follow the directions of the ushers in dismissing you. We want to ensure those with limited mobility are able to get to their cars safely. Please proceed directly outside and to your vehicles. It's tough not to visit in the foyer after the service, but it is safest for everyone to head directly outside. Thank you for your help in keeping our extended Gateway family safe and well.
Gateway has hard-of-hearing headsets available for those who need extra help to hear the service. We also have noise-cancelling headphones available for those with sensory issues or who find the noise a bit overwhelming. If there are any accommodations that would make our space and gathering time more welcoming to you or your family, please ask.
KIDS AT GATEWAY
We plan for children to be a part of our Sunday morning service because they are part of the congregation. During COVID-19, children must remain seated with their parents for the duration of the service. The pastors will teach a brief children's message while the children remain in their seats. The discipleship team has prepared wiggle boxes for each child with quiet activities for them to do in their seats - after the kids' message might be a good time to check them out. As soon as we are safely able, we will return to our Jr. Church and Toddler Time program during the sermon.
